Mike McTighe, Non-executive Chairman
Mike McTighe is an experienced executive with over 25 years of international management experience and directorships in the mobile telecommunications industry. He currently holds non-executive directorships with Alliance & Leicester plc and Pace Micro Technology plc and serves as chairman of the board for leading companies in the wireless sector, such as Red M Group Ltd and Frontier Silicon Holdings Ltd, and is also on the technology advisory board of Apax Partners. Most recently, Mike served as Chairman of Alphamosiac Ltd, where he led the negotiation of the sale to Broadcom, Inc. for $123M+ USD. Mike has held executive management roles in Cable & Wireless plc, Philips Consumer Communications LP, Motorola, Inc. and General Electric. Mike holds a B.Sc Eng from London University.
Tim Haynes, Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Tim brings more than 20 years of Telecoms experience to Nujira, most recently UK Operations Director at Symbionics, where he had management and operations responsibility for engineering staff within the Wireless & Multimedia Division at the company's two UK Design Centres. During his eleven year tenure at Symbionics, Tim successfully founded and managed its highly successful Cellular Business Group, securing multiple multi-million dollar contracts with major Blue-Chip clients. Tim holds a first class honours degree in electrical & electronic engineering.
Andrea Traversone, Non-executive Director
Andrea is a partner at Amadeus Capital Partners Limited, focusing on the wireless telecommunications sector. Since joining Amadeus in 1998, Andrea has worked on several transactions, and he is currently on the board of Riskclick, which supplies business process management software to the insurance industry; AePONA, which is a provider of open standards service creation platforms for the telecommunications industry; Seven Networks, which allows mobile phone users real-time access to email applications and Nujira. Andrea started his career as a financial auditor at a chain of resort hotels in Costa Rica, rising to become head of operations, finance and development. He holds an MBA from Cambridge University and a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. Italian by birth, Andrea is fluent in French and Spanish, as well as English and Italian.
Stephen Lowery, Non-executive Director
Stephen is a Director in the 3i Venture Capital team, specialising in investments in technology businesses. Prior to joining 3i in 2001, he worked in the Global Technology Practice of PA Consulting, advising companies on product development, process development and technology strategy, Stephen is focused on investments in IT hardware, semiconductors and displays and advanced materials. His investments include UbiNetics which successfully realised its divisions to CSR (LSE:CSR) and Aeroflex (NSDQ:ARXX), Microemissive Displays (AIM:MED) and Respond which was recently acquired by CDC (NSDQ:CHINA). He has also led current investments into Insensys, Icera and Metalysis and sits on the board of Deepstream and Nujira. Stephen has a MEng degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
Niel Viljoen, Non-executive Director
Niel Viljoen is Founder and CEO of Netronome systems, immediately prior to this Niel was an active business angel investing in several high tech companies in the UK including leading a seed stage investment in Nujira in 2003. Between 1999 and 2001 Niel served as CTO for the Marconi group, he was responsible for all technology strategy, reporting to the CEO, as a member of the management team. Niel joined Marconi after the acquisition of FORE for $4.5B in cash, where he was part of the management team. At FORE Niel's last position was SVP & GM of the Service Provider Division. Here Niel grew the business from $40M to $320M over a three year period. Niel has received a number of industry awards and attended Stellenbosch and Cambridge Universities.
William Sweeney, Non-executive Director
William Sweeney is an experienced executive with over 20 years of international management experience in the telecommunications industry. He was most recently executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at REMEC, a designer and manufacturer of high frequency subsystems used in the transmission of voice, video and data traffic over wireless communications networks, where he grew corporate revenue from $186M to $500M. Previous to REMEC, William was vice president of sales at a start-up providing LMDS point-to-multipoint wireless solutions. From 1992 to 2001, he was Director of Market Development at Cisco Systems with global responsibilities for packet switched technologies and products for the Global Service Provider market. William holds a Bachelor of Economics from San Diego State University, California.

Martin Jackson
Martin Jackson is Senior Vice President of Engineering for Artimi, a fabless semiconductor company that is producing easy to use UWB solutions for personal area connectivity. He has over twenty years experience in start-up and high technology companies, having co-founded four start-ups. He was previously chief technical officer of GlobespanVirata Inc, a leading fabless semiconductor company providing DSL solutions to the telecoms sector. Prior to GlobespanVirata he co-founded at Eo Inc, Active Book Company and Tadpole Technology.
David Wells
David Wells is a business focused technologist with 18 years experience in the data and telecommunications equipment sector, operating globally at senior executive and board level. He has successfully led product development activities in both startups and large companies. At a corporate level, he has experience developing strategy, supporting M&A activities, corporate finance and leading technology and marketing activities. Currently Chief Operating Officer at Netronome Systems, previously David was EVP & CTO for the Wireless division of Marconi, before this he was at Tellabs in both corporate and product development roles. Prior to Tellabs he played a key role in Netcomm Ltd, a UK startup, eventually acquired by GDC. David has a PhD from Cranfield Institute of Technology.
Jim Brewington
Jim Brewington has an extensive knowledge of the global communications market, having most recently held the position of President of Developing Markets at Lucent Technologies. He played a key role in building the Mobility business at Lucent and establishing its leadership in third generation technologies. Prior to heading Lucent's Developing Markets group, Jim served as President of the company's Mobility Solutions Group, where he was responsible for all wireless infrastructure for the mobility segment including global wireless development and product architecture, project management and business and product management. He began his career at AT&T in 1968, and over the ensuing years has held various executive management positions in the telecommunications industry, including overseeing Bell Telephone Wireless Laboratories. He is a member of the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) and the CTIA Wireless Foundation.
