Here at Nujira you will typically be working in a multi-disciplinary project team of up to a dozen engineers. The majority of our projects last between six and eighteen months, working with blue chip manufacturers from around the world. Working on a range of exciting wireless and mobile communications, you'll be involved in the design of cellular handsets. The level of customer contact would very much depend on your preferences and abilities. For those interested, the opportunity for international travel, particularly to Europe, the Far East and North America may be available.
IC Design Engineer
You are likely to be degree qualified in a relevant discipline (or equivalent) and have knowledge and experience of high speed analogue & mixed signal IC design using Cadence tools.
As an IC designer, you will support product development by providing silicon designs (hardware design) for internal product developments and in particular Nujira HAT© Technology. You will get a chance to work on complex systems on chip, helping to both evolve existing designs as well as defining new architectures & topologies.
IC System Design Engineer
Nujira’s IC System Design Engineer’s take concepts, turn them into novel architectures, and create IC specifications that can be designed in Silicon. Architectures need to be broken down into practicable blocks and specified and engineers will work closely with the IC design team to ensure a realisable solution. All aspects of IC design have to be considered in developing the specifications and therefore previous experiencing in bring complex analog systems through from concept to real silicon is essential.
IC Layout Engineer
Nujira’s IC Layout Engineers are responsible for working closely with the IC design team to perform analog/mixed signal IC layout design of complex novel circuits.
You will need to have substantial experience of analogue layout, for both precision and high speed designs (and layout of digital and RF blocks) and be familiar with practices for high efficiency in both high power and low power designs.
IC Project Manager
The ASICs/ICs designed by Nujira’s design team will allow Nujira’s High Accuracy Tracking technology to be realized in a cost effective manner for use in Nujira's infrastructure products. The IC Project Manager will be responsible for project managing these developments from spec creation to validated devices. You will ideally be degree qualified and technically knowledgeable of the ASIC/IC design process (e.g. ex designer).
Software engineers develop and maintain the code modules, drivers and control/interface blocks for Nujira's Coolteq development system platform and automated test environment toolkit. These components form the backbone of new product development projects, advanced customer applications and special product test / support requirements, frequently employing state of the art algorithmic techniques to solve complex control and analysis problems.
You will need to have a good degree in a computer science or related discipline, understand software design methodologies (OOD/UML/Data Flow) and have experience of embedded software development using C and C++.
Field Applications Engineer
Our FAEs are the “go to guys” for our customers who can rely on them to provide rapid answers and solutions to problems, expert system knowledge and a steady hand when it comes to integration time. They fully understand the complexities of RF systems and, in particular, how to apply Envelope Tracking to get the very best efficiency and performance from power hungry state of the art communications applications.
Our FAEs need to have a good first degree in Electronic Engineering or a related subject, a firm grasp of modern mobile communications technology and a strong desire to make customers successful.
