CAMBRIDGE, U.K. – June 11th, 2013 – Nujira Ltd, the world’s leader in Envelope Tracking (ET) technology, has unveiled its newest Coolteq.L ET power supply modulator chip for LTE handsets. Nujira's NCT-L1300 delivers the best ET modulator performance on the market across all key metrics: system efficiency, noise, bandwidth, linearity and RF output power. The new chip is now being geared up for volume production to support 4G smartphone shipments in 2014.
Nujira beats own world record for ET PA linearity

CAMBRIDGE, U.K. – May 23rd, 2013 – Nujira Ltd, the world’s leader in Envelope Tracking (ET) technology, will be presenting new performance results at the IEEE MTT International Microwave Symposium (IMS) this week demonstrating that the company has bettered its own world record linearity mark for an RF Power Amplifier (PA) operating under ET conditions. Using its patented ISOGAIN® technique to linearize the amplifier Nujira achieved an Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio (ACLR) of -53dBc, without the use of modem assistance or Digital PreDistortion (DPD). The result beats Nujira’s previous landmark of
-50dBc, halving the signal distortion.
Nujira selects LTX Credence production testers

The agreement will see Nujira use the LTX-Credence Diamond10 tester for testing of its Coolteq.L High Accuracy Tracking ET modulator ICs ahead of full volume production later this year.

Nujira supports up to 16 LTE bands in handsets
UK-based Nujira has been working for five years to get the technology it supports, Envelope Tracking, into mass market devices, to address the challenges of LTE's fragmented spectrum bands. It will reach this goal next year, the firm claims, as it prepares to launch Woodstock, a reference design for smartphone RF front ends, which can support 16 frequencies while keeping power consumption low.

Nujira aims power tracking chip at LTE phones in 2014
Nujira says the first 4G LTE smartphones to use its power efficient RF technology will be on the market next year.“In the past it was an aspiration to get envelope-tracking (ET) technology designed into volume handsets, now we know it will happen in 2014,” Tim Haynes CEO, Nujira told Electronics Weekly.
